Message from the Mayor

As the Mayor of Morehead City it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Morehead City Website.

Though small in size, our city is a giant in its offerings to our citizens and to those just passing through.

One of Morehead's biggest assets is its citizenry. We have many educated, dedicated, concerned, talented willing citizens in this community. They are the ones who make up the numerous boards and commissions which serve as the lifeblood of any successful community. It has been said that the success of a community can be directly gauged by the quality and quantity of its volunteers. That being said, Morehead is alive and well.
